“The long-awaited St. Bonaventure mission chair and ottoman have arrived, and we could not be happier with the end results! After many careful consultations with Dan and his team at Alumni Chairs, the beautiful chair and ottoman they produced exceeded all our expectations. The quality of the quarter-sawn oak is truly comparable to any Stickley furniture I have seen, and the fine leather upholstery perfectly complements the sturdy, extremely well-constructed frame. I especially love the width and depth of the chair, large enough for a large man to be comfortable in and for a smaller woman to snuggle up in with a good book. The ottoman is a perfect size, not too imposing for a smaller space. Finally, the reproduction of the very detailed St. Bonaventure seal is perfect–not a line is missing. It really makes the chair the heirloom we hope it will become.
